Hi, I stayed with your last February, you might have gotten a perfect 10 on my review, but now I see that one night from Oct 11 to 12 would cost me cca 740 EUR...can you explain that to me, I was hoping to stay but that price is absurd...COVID-19 related?

Hey Scott!:) Due to the pandemic we changed our concept and we rent out the whole house not beds, so this is the price you see. Optionally I can offer you a private room for 75€/ night :)

Friendliness was in abundance...everything explained well...offer to stay for dinner...to watch a movie with the group also charming...very homey feel...comfortable and colorful surroundings inside...help with securing a padlock...bathroom clean...room clean..
Time to get out to the site but I knew that when ordering...really not a big deal.

This review is long overdue. I stayed in Vienna 27th-5th for New Years. I never stayed in a hostel before so I was a bit worried however when I was greeted by Tim and entered the property it was very clean, great atmosphere and amazing people. Tim offered a free welcome shot that I was more than happy to drink as I had a delayed flight. The beds are super comfortable, the rooms are spotless, the common area is warm and homly. The staff are very helpful and friendly to answer any questions you have, just don't pester them too much as they still have to run the hostel to make your stay as enjoyable as possible. The facilties are great you have a safe where you can store valuables, wardrobes in rooms with a locks just make sure you bring your padlock, they offer a laundry service for a reasonable price, they have local alcohol on site if you want to have a quiet night, they have a projector where they watch TV or movies, the dinner is always something different each night and always amazing they also offer vegan options aswell. Kamille, Clemens, Tim, Marie, Leon and other volunteers are the best staff, friendly, welcoming, helpful, intelligent, informative and fun. This is the only place you should stay in Vienna it felt like a second home that why I extended my stay till the 9th. Respect the rules, don't be a weird or abusive guest and tell people about this place because it's a hidden gem. I will be back in the summer.
I wished I could stay there longer.
